With over six years of competition and more than a decade of training, my commitment to powerlifting is built on a foundation of consistency, discipline, and an unrelenting drive to improve. But that foundation didn't start in a weight room — it was forged long before, through 14 years as a semi-pro downhill / dual slalom mountain bike racer and further cemented by my time serving as a United States Marine. Those experiences taught me what it truly means to push past limits, embrace discomfort, and compete with purpose.
That same drive is reflected in my powerlifting results — holding over 18 state records alongside national and world records — but the numbers only tell part of the story. Behind each one are countless hours of deliberate practice, honest effort, and a willingness to show up fully, every single time.
My involvement in the sport extends well beyond the platform. As a USPA national referee, I've had the privilege of judging at local, national, and world championship meets across the country. As a USPA Level 2 certified powerlifting coach and ASFA certified personal trainer, I'm equally invested in helping others reach their potential as I am in chasing my own. These roles reflect something I believe deeply: that the integrity of the sport and the growth of its athletes are inseparable.
Powerlifting isn't something I do — it's a lens through which I approach everything. From preparing for my next competition to walking a newer lifter through their first meet, the same values apply: put in the work, hold yourself to a high standard, and leave the community better than you found it.

I offer online coaching and nutrition services to ensure you have the support you need, wherever you are. Through personalized plans I provide actionable advice you can apply to your workouts and daily routines. Currently working towards a Nutrition Coaching Certificate and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, I am committed to continuous learning to bring you the latest and most effective methods in fitness and nutrition. A powerlifter is someone who possesses the mental and physical strength to do their best.
It's a question of wanting to exceed possibilities, to always strive to do better, and to never settle for second best.
A powerlifter honors his or her predecessors and aims to surpass them—setting a higher standard for him or herself daily.
You can be a powerlifter. You can gain that strength, that discipline, and that heart within yourself. Those are the qualities that define us. I'm here to train you, even when you've lost faith in yourself. I'll push you, I'll encourage you, and I will never give up on you.
All I expect from you in return is that you regard each of the members of the gym with respect and brotherhood/sisterhood. We're a team, and we rise together. I will give you the same respect, fairness, and compassion I give all the other powerlifters—expecting a high standard from you, firmly, but always with your best interest at heart.
Here's what I expect from you:· Give 100% every day—bring your best effort, follow the training, and do it willingly and without hesitation.· Treat everyone in the gym with kindness, respect, and humility.· Honestly be who you are in everything you do—first and foremost with yourself. A powerlifter does not cheat or lie about his or her gains.· Dedicate yourself to the strengthening of your mind as well as your body—this journey requires you to grow in all aspects of you.· Above all, be proud of who you are and what you're becoming, but never, ever quit.
